Organizational Purpose
Dr. Essy Exploits Foundation Inc. is organized for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes. Its stated charitable activity includes providing supplies to people in need, prayer and counseling.
Private Benefit
The foundation's charitable resources are intended to advance its exempt purposes and not to improperly benefit insiders or private individuals. Reasonable compensation for legitimate services may be permitted when properly authorized.
Political Activity
The organization does not participate or intervene in political campaigns on behalf of or in opposition to candidates for public office, consistent with the restrictions applicable to organizations seeking or holding recognition under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3).
Dissolution
Upon dissolution, remaining assets are to be distributed for one or more exempt purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3), or to government for a public purpose, consistent with the organization's incorporation language.
Conflict of Interest
Board members, officers and decision-makers should disclose actual or potential conflicts and refrain from participating in decisions when appropriate. The foundation should document material governance decisions and maintain appropriate financial records.
